In August of 2020 during my freshman year at Illinois State University, I created the Instagram account @sophtrb to log my practice and musical activities. It took me nearly a year and a half to settle into a consistent editing style and posting schedule. I use DaVinci Resolve for all editing, an iPhone camera and mic for daily recordings, and a Zoom H2N microphone for higher quality audio.

On this account I post practice videos, mini vlogs, short-form comedic edits, and I share highlights of my musical life. I’ve been incredibly lucky to connect with so many wonderful musicians through this account. Thank you to everyone who provides support, love, and laughter through this account.
